Step by step
How to search permits in Pasco County.
Start with the office for the property's address. The official portal shows the permit's current status, inspections and documents.
Find the permitting authority
Check whether the address is inside New Port Richey or Dade City, which issue their own permits. Otherwise the permit belongs to Pasco County Building Construction Services.
Open the official permit search
Open PascoGateway, which runs on Accela Citizen Access. The county's online permitting portal for applying for and managing building permits.
Search by address or permit number
Search with the street address or the permit number where the portal offers those fields, then open the record for its status, inspections and documents.
Ask the office about older records
If a permit is missing online, ask Pasco County Building Construction Services (727-847-8126) how to request it. Older permits are not always in online systems.
