Information used to run your account

We use your email address, optional name, password hash, session information, saved searches, preferences, and subscription status to provide account access and the features you request. Your password is stored as a hash. Please do not send passwords or payment-card information by email.

A new account creates an internal notification for the owner containing the account email, optional name, and creation time. Brevo handles transactional messages. Creating an account does not enroll you in a marketing mailing list.

Payments

Square processes new subscriptions and payment-card details. Existing Stripe subscriptions continue to use Stripe for billing. Permit Press keeps the payment-provider references, subscription status, and purchased coverage needed to provide access. Card details entered at checkout are handled by the payment provider.

Public records

Permit Press collects records published by covered government sources. Records may include names, business details, property information, and other fields published by those sources. We organize these records for search and monitoring. Source availability and updates vary; a public record is not proof of consent to be contacted or evidence of a person's needs.

Optional analytics and attribution

Optional analytics stay off until you accept. If enabled and accepted, Google Analytics helps us understand page visits and completed actions such as account creation, saved searches, checkout starts, and confirmed purchases. Campaign tags can help identify which outreach version brought a visitor to the site.

Our analytics integration restricts the page and campaign information it sends. It does not send your name, email address, password, saved-search text, or private record identifiers as analytics parameters. Analytics providers may process network and device information when your browser contacts them.

Use Analytics choices in the footer to accept, reject, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops optional collection from this browser and clears this site's analytics and attribution storage. It does not erase information already received by a provider. Account and consent cookies remain necessary for the choices and features you request.

Service providers and operational information

Hosting, database, transactional-email, and payment providers process information needed to run the service. Operational logs and narrowly scoped abuse controls help investigate faults and protect account creation. Information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Requests and retention

Email collin@try.permit.press to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for account operation, security, billing records, or legal obligations; contact us about your circumstances. We do not promise a fixed deletion or retention period on this page.

Deleting a Permit Press account does not remove an underlying public record from the government source. Contact the issuing agency about its correction process.
